Eigentlich hätte ich eine CD bevorzugt, stand leider nicht zur Auswahl.

Tracks wie "A Walk in the Park by Night" einfach fantastisch
"Entering Birds" köstlich
"Interlude", schöne Abwechslung,
"Caribbean Delirium" grandios. Ich liebe das ganze Album. Favorite track: Caribbean Delirium.

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) "Failure in Wonderland" already showed a new rising star in big band jazz, nicely confirmed with this album. Monika Roscher exposes an interesting, more rock-oriented approach to this old genre with her vocals and rock guitar inserts. Her arrangement techniques are pretty much in the classic big band realm, but with extensive outbursts into avantgarde. There are occasional distracting sax squeaking attacks on some tracks, luckily more than outweighed by the excellent structured compositions. Favorite track: Timewarp.

Eric Salmassy Very unique music with a wide variety of instrumentation and arrangements. Favorite track: Wanderer.

Though only their third studio album release, these veterans have been around for almost fifteen years--and they keep getting better with each release--which is hard to manage since their quality of compositions, performances, and production have always been top notch.
